We took our life in our hands to get to the next destination - a 16th century pub in Crediton, Devon called The Lamb Inn. The roads getting us there became largely single lane which gave us a moment or two's consternation until we realised that we were largely travelling alone - so much so that Nigel was able to stop in the middle of the road for a crafty photo opp. We arrived at the Lamb unscathed and ready for our next challenge - imbibing the warm beer and negotiating the home made pie.
